Pipe material, location and condition influence the work required. Before proceeding, the scope should identify the source being addressed and the access needed. A wider replacement project is a different instruction from repairing an agreed leak.
Include the essentials
The residential package includes the agreed plumbing repair, parts, materials and testing. The £100 deposit is deducted from the £1,600 total, leaving £1,500. No additional hourly surcharge applies simply because the agreed job takes longer.
Check the result
Testing is chosen around the system and completed work. A repaired pipe does not immediately dry the surrounding building, so the outcome should distinguish water loss addressed by the work from remaining moisture in materials.
Know the warranty boundary
A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the work carried out under the agreed scope. Full booking and warranty arrangements should be confirmed before payment. Decorative and remedial reinstatement are excluded.
